The “2 Chicks, 2 Wheels” portion of this journey officially came to an end this morning when I took
Kobi to the ferry that would be taking her to Prince Rupert's airport:
Wow, what an adventure the past 9 days and 2,300 miles have been!! I'm going to miss seeing those
pigtails in my rear view mirror! As a review, here's what our route looked like:
I'm going to hold up an extra day here in Prince Rupert so I can rest a bit, regroup, and plan my
next route. At the beginning of this journey I had planned to drop Kobi off in Prince Rupert
then head to Calgary to meet my Dad for our “Dad-Daughter” ride (him as passenger) through Banff,
Jasper, Waterton, and Glacier National Parks. Sadly, he had to cancel while I was in
Alaska. I doubt I'll go do the loop myself, preferring to save the experience for when we can
do it together. I plan to leave here on Wednesday and go to Prince George (where I hear the
gang there has moose steaks waiting for me) but after that I'm not exactly sure what direction this
journey will continue. I have no doubt it will be full of adventure regardless of my path of travel!
