So, I zoomed down to Farmington, NM to meet suprise some friends of mine who were taking a weekend ride from Phoenix to Durango, CO. Until I can write the Journey Report, here are the photos from my ride there and also after meeting up with them.
I'm seeing more and more of the deer fencing going up in problem areas:
Always odd when it's raining on one side of the road and sunny on the other:
Not too far down the road, “Mo” (my moose passenger) yelled “WHOA, AGirl... check out the elk chicks!!” but by the time I pulled over they took:
“Mo” had a great time today and so did I:

... then I walked down to see where the water went under the road, which was essentially a cave:

I swear these guys can sniff out an place that has pie in a 50 mile radius of where we are riding! So, a stop in Silverton...
