***UPDATE: Tuesday, June 26
The Alaska trip is UNDERWAY!.
Click Here for details. Actually AGirl left Phoenix on June 20. I set up a new page
for the trip and completely forgot about putting a link to it on this page. I changed the link
on the main page but putting one here never even crossed my mind. I sincerely apologize for any
inconvenience and will try not to make the same mistake again.

***UPDATE: Wed, June 13th
One week from today I'll be setting sail for quite the adventure, even by my own standards,
so if you're one of my virtual co-riders you better get ready! I'm leaving Phoenix on
Wednesday, June 20 and will probably not return for at least 8 weeks. For those that
know me it will come as no surprise that I won't be taking the direct route...um, well,
anywhere! I will be doing a lot of camping so web updates may not be as regular as
some are accustomed (ahem, can someone remind the Matriarch of this!!). At current
here is the first week:
Wed, 6/20 - camping on the beach in Santa Barbara, CA
Thurs, 6/21 - camping on the beach in Half Moon Bay, CA
Fri-Sun - San Francisco
Mon-Wed - Lassen Nat'l Park, Whiskeytown Nat'l Rec.Area, Redwood Nat'l Park
More to come...

***June 3rd update:
If you have suggestions, recommendations, or traveling tips, by all means shoot me an
email: HERE
I'll be updating this page as the departure nears and certainly posting photos and reports
during the journey. Thanks in advance for the support!
Here's my updated map (disregard the blue moons, they do not denote anything):
Based on feedback I've received from some very kind and helpful Canadians, I have revised the Dad-Daughter
loop from Calgary to Calgary. I eliminated crossing the Going To The Sun Highway twice as well as
reversed the entire route to now go counter-clockwise. That revised Dad-Daughter route now looks like this:
I have already found this book - the 2007 Milepost - to be invaluable!! If you are considering a ride or
drive to AK, Yukon, Northwest Territories, BC., etc., then you need this guide! Despite being rather bulky,
it will definitely be packed on my motorcycle when I leave!
