I don't recall the last time I was off the bike for two full days. What better days
to leave the streets to others than Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day wkend, huh? As
usual, I immensely enjoyed spending time with the 84 year old family Matriarch, especially
reviewing each and every photo with her that I've taken during this East Coast 2007
jaunt. Sadly, there are no photos to post of her since she adamantly refused to have
her picture taken this time, claiming "my hair is in between perms and I'm not going to look
like some crazy old lady." I offered my beloved baseball cap to her and, well, let's
just say that I got a strange look followed by “you must not have heard the crazy old lady part.”
More to come on today a bit later.... I've just made a big change in my AK plans/routing
(leaving earlier, riding longer) and need to address, oh, about a zillion issues. The
change came about to accommodate my Dad's schedule and our Calgary rendezvous for the
Banff-Revelstoke-Glacier-Waterton loop. For specifics on that journey and the happenings,
