August 19, 2006 - Reporting from Phoenix, AZ

Meanwhile, back at the ranch.... Yup, pulled back into the "Valley of the Sun" tonight after 50 days straight on the road with the Strom.  My neighbors are impressed, my dog is not.  (special thanks to the Churchills for taking such good care of him!). The trip today from CO included 900mi, 2 more stamps, a billion raindrops and countless memories. Doing *major* Strom service this week with Jim (my super duper master mechanic extraordinare).  RTJohn and I will be attempting to do some planning this week for our little upcoming ride (though we usually end up just swimming), then I'll be leaving this coming wkend to go back to the mountains (Big Bear, CA); snowbirds don't belong in Phoenix in August!  Maybe I'll catch up on some ride reports... if I don't get busy I'll be 13,000mi behind soon.  Yes, only *16 days* until USA Four Corner departure (eek!).  Here's more pics from today for now.... p.s.
