This section of the ride report by SmokeyMtnVStrom from the Stromtroopers Forum

Got the opportunity to ride with Stromette yesterday.  It was a pleasure and we had a great time.  I hate that some of the other stromers from the Knoxville area missed out.  I am not a reporter so "bear" with me on this report.

Meet up at the Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson shop on 321.  After some Strom talk we started into Knoxville so she could get a picture of Neyland Stadium which is were the University of Tennessee Volunteers football team plays, in a 118,000 seat stadium.  After a quick breakfast at Mountain Bobs we headed for Douglas Lake.

We headed out Boyds Creek Rd off of Chapman Hwy and connected with Hwy 66 outside of Sevierville.  We headed north to connect up with Hwy 139 which heads into Dandridge, TN and has great views of the lake.  Once at Douglas we stopped at Cowboys Restraunt for a photo opportuity of the lake.  We headed on into Dandridge for yet another Photo.  Over the bridge and through some gentle twisties we worked our way to Dolly Parton Pkwy which leads back into Sevierville, TN.  Once back in Seveirville we turned towards Pigeon Forge and a stop at Hounddogs for some University of Tennessee goodies.

Once back on the road we bypassed many of the redlights in Pigeon Forge and headed toward Gatlinburg.  After the photo upon entering Gatlinburg we headed for the Natural Trail Motor Loop south off the city.  It is a nice loop, but the only thing is that it is a single lane loop at one point and sometimes the cagers do not wanna let you by.  But overall we had a good ride around it and she got some great photos.

We headed for Sugarlands Ranger station from there for the all important stamp, "The Great Smoky Mountains".  And I picked up my passport to start collecting some stamps of my own.  After a short break we headed around River Rd on our way back to Maryville, TN.  Once back at our starting point I had to head back to the house for some "honey do" items.

Overall it was a great day for riding.  The temp was a little warm but the scenery always makes it worth it.  It was a pleasure meeting you Stromette and look forward to riding with you again.  Maybe next time I can get these other guys to take a day off and ride.

Thanks, SmokyMtnVStrom for being a wonderful tour guide.  I had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed riding your neck of the woods and, of course, getting a stamp.  Hopefully RT and I can stop by coming back from VT!  Here are some of the pics I took along our way yesterday:
